Andorra la Vella is dominated to the west by the rugged Enclar mountain range, featuring the peaks of Bony de la Pica (2,402 m), Enclar Peak (2,383 m), and Carroi Peak (2,335 m). This is a path of lush deciduous forests, teeming with a diverse range of flora and fauna. Here you can see the largest concentration of chamois and birds of prey.
Madriu Valley is a glacial valley in the Pyrenees located in the southeast of the Principality of Andorra, forming part of the parishes of Encamp, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julià de Lòria and Escaldes-Engordany. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004 and expanded in 2006, "The Mother River" is the Latin name for Madriu, the valley that owes its "U" shape to its glacial origin, a characteristic of valleys formed by ice.
The Valls del Comapedrosa Natural Park is located in the northeast of the Principality of Andorra , in the parish of La Massana . The protected area covers 1,542.6 ha (15.42 km2 ) and its highest point is the Alt del Comapedrosa , which, at 2,942 meters, is the highest peak in Andorra. Its imposing high mountain landscape, lakes, waterfalls, and springs delight all nature lovers. A wide variety of excursions are available thanks to the trails and shelters. You can also find a wide range of fauna (such as chamois, golden eagles, bearded vultures, etc.) and flora (such as Burser's gentian, Pyrenean sagebrush, and Alpine pansy).
